Mehraveh Hosseinali
M.Sc. Candidate
Mehraveh is currently a M.Sc. student at the University of Waterloo, working with the Theraphage Lab. She completed her B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry at Sharif University of Technology in Tehran. Her MS.C. project focuses on engineering AAV particles in E. coli to encapsulate a gene of interest as a novel gene therapy platform. She will design a novel production method that includes separate processes for AAV capsid production and genetic material production, followed by in vitro assembly in E. coli to generate complete AAV particles. She is also working on the optimization and characterization of a novel anelloviral vector production system for a gene therapy platform.
