Thaddeus Gugu

Ph.D. Candidate

Gugu is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy. He previously completed a Ph.D. in 2021 at the University of Nigeria Nsukka where he studied targeted drug delivery and formulations, funded by the German In-Country/In-Region DAAD Scholarship. Gugu has also attended a 15 month research visit at the Drug Delivery System Excellence Center (DDSEC), Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Prince of Songkhla University, Thailand, where he worked on aerosolized drug delivery against Gram-negative bacterial resistance. His current project involves the development of a Lambda (λ) phage-based vaccine platform.
